NBC to broadcast preseason Giants games
The New York Giants and WNBC-TV have reached a multiyear agreement for the network to broadcast preseason games for the Super Bowl champions.
Terms of the agreement announced on Thursday were not disclosed.
The New York station will televise the preseason opener against the Lions in Detroit on Aug. 7, and the Super Bowl rematch at Giants Stadium against the New England Patriots on Aug. 28.
The kickoff for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Bob Papa will handle play-by-play duties, with Carl Banks providing color commentary and Howard Cross reports from the sideline.
